The current political condition of Pakistan.
The current political state of Pakistan is need of some new, sincere and hard working leadership. The new “democratic government” has let the public down so much that riots against them have spread like wildfire in the country. May it be the people or other politicians, every says that the current leadership is the worst thing that can happen to Pakistan. People should support well educated, sincere and honest people like Imran Khan, who has spent his money on hospitals rather than buying a private BMW 7 series. The attack on the Sri Lankan team was a devastating shock to the soviernty of Pakistan and the government hasn’t taken any action about it! As a private survey which i have observed through out in school, about 90% people, including teachers side with the Lawyers movement and want to go to the “Long March”.
To tell you the truth, when the PPP (Pakistan People’s Party) had come along, we had loads of expectations on them, and we were sure that they would prove to be a generous and successful government. That thought soon turned to ashes, in the first month or so, as the party started to show its real colour. Throwing away its promises like anything, they disappointed everyone. Most of all, they disappointed there leader, Benazir Bhutto, who had claimed Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudry to be the Chief Justice.
The media has played a positive roll in keeping the country in one piece, because if the mistakes of politicians aren’t high lighted(i doubt they if they are even mistakes, they most probably do it on purpose), they will carry on doing it again and again. People who are trying to improve the living condition and the educational system get tagged with Treason and that they are planning against the safety of Pakistan! The main reason about this is that the government wants to loot everything and they dont want anyone to work for the betterment of the country, as they will be tagged as failures.
The party is breaking up too, as the sincere people know that it has no future in the hands of Zardari. The public has given the govenment lots of chances, but after breaking every promise, i dont think anyone can bear with it any more.
Bleach returns with it’s second game to the Wii!! Bleach: Versus Crusade
All Bleach fans!! Sega has announced that it will be releasing it’s second Bleach game on the Wii on 18th December, 2008!! This is one of the latest games on Wii.
Bleach is back with vengance, because now its with online play, free roam, hollow Ichigo(YAY!) and many more…
The graphics have also improved since the last game and you can also see it’s trailer too.
The name of the game is Bleach: Versus Crusade.
This should be a must buy for Bleach fans because I know that the first game was disappointing… there aren’t much details available for this game but I did what I could!
The World is in a real bad shape…
Everyone knows about the many Hurricanes that have hit the United States of Americain the last few months. Hurricanes like Ike and some others…
One hurricane causes enough destruction but consecutive hurricanes can… well, you can imagine the damage. The US is not the only place where the weather is getting harsher, its almost everywhere. In Pakistan, there have been storms which were so strong that they had never been seen before. In the morning, the sun is shing bright and the sky is a light blue but as soon as the clock hits 4, dark clouds start to gather and form a dark shroud over the plains…
A few days back, there had been a hailstorm, not just any hailstorm, a very destructive one. Sign boards had crashed, cars had been crushed, trees devastated and so much more damage! And the surprising thing to be noted here is that never in the history of the world has there been a hailstorm in these months!
This change is mostly because of global warming which is increasing dramatically. The balance in the world is also decreasing. If a herbivore is dying, the carnivore will starve and then die. People are hunting more and more animals despite the fact that they are being protected. Many beautiful species have died out either because of humans destroying their habitat or extreme weather. These killings should start now and the poachers should b punished for there deeds. When we stop buying the products made up of animals, like tiger skin or snake skin purses etc. The killing will decrease dramatically because when the buying stops, the killing will too!
Will Google Chrome internet browser take over?
The new, faster, safer and simpler internet browser, Google Chrome is an internet browser by Google which has been released, well, it’s beta version has been. Right now, IE and firefox are head to head but now this new competitor has also joined the challenge. With a much simpler and, sort of calmer interface and many new features, Google Chrome wil be loved by all.
The beta version may have its faults but over all, its pretty good. Compared to Firefox 3, it is more responsive and exceptionally faster! All the websites are loaded faster and I have found a dramatic change in Yahoo! mail. Because I have a lot of mail (i’m in a group), mostly, firefox freezes for a minute or two. This problem is diminished in Google Chrome, which is a big sigh of relief!
One more wonder one the new Google Chrome is that the the Location Bar can also be used as a search bar!! For example, if you type,”www.wordpress.com” it will show up and if you type “What is wordpress”, the results for the search will show up! Pretty cool, eh?
Firefox is so popular because of it’s add ons which I agree too, that they are very useful. Especially AdBlock Plus.
Which, I miss very much but no need to worry, because Google Chrome will also have its add ons shortly when the proper version is released. RIght now, Google Chrome may not be that popular but in time, it will because its safer, simpler and dramatically faster!!
Uncontrolable prices in Pakistan, who’s fault is it?
Since the last year, prices of almost every thing in Pakistan are increasing rapidly, not only making the lives of poor miserable but also making the lives miserable of the middle class and upper class, non-government people. Everyday, the price is different from yesterday’s one. Why, because the government isn’t efficient enough! And its also the fault of the shop keepers, who know that no one is here to check, so why not increae the prices. Now, the month of Ramadan has started so the shop keeper’s, taking advantage of this holy month, have increased the price dramatically! My father went to the nearby fruit shop to buy some banana’s and they were so expensive that one could only think that how could a poor person makes his ends meet! The next day, my father went to the very same store only to find that the prices had increased again and the shop keeper said that they will make it more expensive during evening!!
There is so much lawlessness here nowadays that people think that they can do what ever they want to!! They park their cars in the middle of streets, snatch mobiles and other expensive stuff and much more!!
Today, I went out to buy cheese because we were going to make a pizza! When I entered the shop, they said a small packet of cheese is for Rs. 115 only. This echoed in my ears for a long time and then I repeated 115!? I mean, since i remember, it was only Rs.45 the last time I went shopping! Disgruntled, I went to another shop, only to find the same price. *sigh* I can’t even make a pizza now!! It’s too expensive! The chicken costs Rs. 175, cheddar cheese costs Rs. 100 and mozzarella cheese costs Rs. 115.
Before the new government came into being, my favorite pizza’s price was Rs. 200 and now, that this new government has taken over, the pizza costs Rs. 245. Why? Rs. 45 is government tax!
The new government has not controlled the prices of wheat and other daily needed things but now, they have come after pizza too!! *sigh*
We should vote for someone new and sincere to come in the government because all these politicians have dropped Pakistan’s graph dramatically. No light, no food, no nothing. We should support people like Imran Khan who are sincere to Pakistan, not to use it to fulfill there own needs!! Even now, I appeal to the government to take control of the prices and all, because if they do, I know, everyone will have faith in them.
Bleach episodes-why fillers raid the main story?
Bleach is a Japanese anime also dubbed and subbed in English and watched world wide and loved by many. It is known for its fast pace fights with swords and magic (kidou). Bleach is still in production and is currently on its 185th episode. One of it’s movie has been released, “Bleach: Memories of Nobody” and two more movies are yet to be released, one call “Bleach: The Diamond Dust Rebellion” and the other, which is in production but no specific information is provided… its called, “Bleach: Fade to Black”.
Bleach was introduced as a comic book(manga) and after it got popular, the anime production was started. The Manga is only released once per month but the anime is aired 4 times a month. This has put a major difference in the anime’s time line, for example, the anime is far ahead in the story than the Manga so the Bleach society has started to air fillers. Fillers aren’t in the anime’s main story time line and are just….well….fillers! They have nothing to do with the main story and that bugs me so!! A Bleach fan like me can’t wait to get on with the main story!! Because….hehehe…. accidentally I read a spoiler and I know that a major fight is going to take place between a captain and an Espada. Ready to hear it?? If you don’t, u can just go to the next line… the fight will take place Zaraki Kenpachi, captain of the 11th squad and the Espada, Noitra, who had defeated Sado very easily!
There have been many type’s of filler, the Bounto’s story(which was, by my opinion, the most boring one!), and before the bounto one, there was another, i don’t remember the name but this guy, who can see hollows but cant fight, he is a super star, i guess…. and this Kasime-ooji family filler, which is a bit interesting because of his inner hollow power, the hollow mask and stuff, so cool!
So as i said, the main reason for the filler’s is the anime is far ahead from the Manga…
P.S. Can anyone tell me where to get English dubbed Bleach, because Veoh.com isn’t available in Pakistan anymore *sigh*
Old music and games are gold…
Old, or not so recent music and games were, in my opinion, a bit better than the ones today. This mostly goes for music because there are many new game titles like Gears of War and Assassin’s creed that have shaken the new gaming generation by it’s “too good to be true graphics!” The old games, like the famous sequel, Diablo has been a top hit along with Warcraft 3 and many others… even now, when I go to gaming zones, i see people playing Warcraft 3 or Command and Conquer Generals. Why, its kind of a addiction, once you play it and like it, don’t know if you can leave it!!

In music, Linkin Park and backstreet boys have rocked the world! They are still being played and sold in huge numbers and their is a big reason. Well, built and sucks you in. My brother, who’s very simple, doesn’t watch movies, listen songs or any thing, very simple. I was listening to the song “That way” by backstreet boys and he snatched the head phones from me. I thought he’d give it back but he didn’t, he said he liked it!! In the first time of his life!! If he likes it, then I must like it and so must other people!! Linkin Park is great too… in cartoon network, their song “Points of Authority” would use to air after every commercial!!

Pakistan, the true beauty within…
In the news, when Pakistan is shown, you may have noticed that the channels show the slum areas of Pakistan which are dirty and nothing like the real beauty that lies within. The posh areas of Pakistan are beautiful and have a lot of greenery. They look no less than any American country side area, calm and decent. The new and under construction areas are becoming more and more modernized, in the sense that more and more fountains, plants and other decorative stuff. Pakistan is a gifted area, it has both industrial, residential and tourist attraction areas. Faisalabad is known as the Manchester of Asia and Lahore is known as the city of gardens.
Most of the northern areas in Pakistan are very beautiful and are a very calm place to send your vacation! The slum areas which are mostly and unfortunately shown on the international TV are the places where most of the beggars or servants live! After all, every city has a suburb! New shopping malls are also being constructed and Pakistan will eventually prosper!
Communication, so easy nowadays…
A long time ago, people must have never thought that communication would be so easy in a time to come… Now, almost every house has a telephone land line to contact their relatives with and almost everyone has a mobile phone! Its a good thing! The world is becoming modern day after day!
Just a few days ago, my eldest brother, Jaffer, went to Pittsburgh and it was very easy to contact him. Either from Skype, which lets you make a call from your computer, it even supports video calls. My brother has also installed Braintel which is a software which lets you make calls or receive calls from your PC. Almost every airport he stopped on the way had Wifi. That is a real great thing! Now, every passenger who has a Laptop can contact their relatives.
Even if you are a continent away, communication is still simple. Either by e-mails or by other means, communication can take place.
Why Pakistan never prospers…
In Pakistan, there are posh areas and slum areas, but the majority is still slum. The government has never worked or rarely worked for the benefit of the society because if it had, Pakistan would be prospering! There should be a proper system of sewerage because when it rains, the water is still on the streets for almost 4 days after the rain!
Long ago in China, when the people became so corrupt that it was seeming to be the end, a new law was passed on that who so ever was trying to do something wrong, he would be sentenced to death. With this fear, China is now one of the most safest country and the people are kind too. Over here in Pakistan, don’t know what the government is doing with the taxes that the poor people pay. Either they go out of Pakistan or stay in a luxurious hotel. I’m not saying that they should stay in luxurious hotels but the first priority is for the people of Pakistan.
If the people are suffering, then the government should feel guilty and do something! Where I live is a posh area and still the electricity is turned off for 6 hours a day because of a shortage. I don’t think that the poor people have electricity because its so expensive. The cities are drowned in shrouds of darkness because of no electricity.
My parents have a village in some far away area which almost has no construction in it. There is a government school there, and the children are eager to learn and come to school while the teachers never show up because they are not funded by the government. My family gathered up some money and supplied electricity to that school, bought fans for it, bought some furniture because the students used to sit on the floor. That school was filled with cob webs and was so dirty and was 70 years old!
The poor people are perishing slowly and the rich people are becoming richer. There is still hope if our politicians do something about it, which is not so likely, unfortunately…
